Video: Husband in Pink Tutu Helps Wife With Breast Cancer

May 7, 2014 by Scott "Q" Marcus Leave a Comment

Would you dress up in a silly outfit to help someone you loved?

I would. However, I’m not sure I’d choose a pink tutu.

When Bob Carey’s wife, Linda, was diagnosed with breast cancer, he donned a pink tutu to try and lighten things up. Not only did it do that, but it launched the Tutu Project.

Video: Disabled Vet Walks Again, Loses 100lbs With Yoga

June 19, 2012 by Scott "Q" Marcus

This video starts a little slowly and it seems a little “hokey.” However, I have got to admit, it really inspired me. An amazing story of weight loss and what you can do when you believe in yourself.

From the source: A disabled veteran for many years, he could only hobble with a cane.In desperation and overweight, he found help from a special yoga instructor.

Video: Secret Santa Hands out $20,000 of His Own Money

December 7, 2011 by Scott "Q" Marcus Leave a Comment

Once again, the Good News Network comes through with a great story.

A Secret Santa went to Reading, Pennsylvania, reportedly because it was the poorest city in America, with the goal of handing out $20,000 in cash to random people in thrift stores, laundromats and bus stops who look like they could use a helping hand. Watch this video; it will uplift you – then go commit a random act of kindness.

Video: Bystanders Lift Burning Car to Save Crash Victim

September 20, 2011 by Scott "Q" Marcus Leave a Comment

Sometimes, we forget the good in strangers. This video will help change that.

I found this on the GoodNewsNetwork and it’s dramatic – and uplifting.

According to the GoodNewsNetwork:

A 21-year old motorcyclist who collided with a BMW on the campus of Utah State University was lying unconscious beneath the burning wreckage when bystanders rushed to help. Workers at a nearby construction site began to lift the car along with students, while a professor shot the scene on his camera phone from an upper window of a building.
