Video: Bystanders Lift Burning Car to Save Crash Victim

Sometimes, we forget the good in strangers. This video will help change that.

I found this on the GoodNewsNetwork and it’s dramatic – and uplifting.

According to the GoodNewsNetwork:

A 21-year old motorcyclist who collided with a BMW on the campus of Utah State University was lying unconscious beneath the burning wreckage when bystanders rushed to help. Workers at a nearby construction site began to lift the car along with students, while a professor shot the scene on his camera phone from an upper window of a building.

What makes it more uplifting is the people who were “rescuing” him thought he was already dead and they risked themselves anyway. (As it turns out, he was alive.)

If you would like to see the full story – and read the complete transcript, you can find it this location on MSNBC.
