Stay in the Present

You are where you plant your feet.

When we get sad, we are focusing on the past. When we get frightened, we are focusing on the future.

To be happy, we must focus on the present; after all, it’s all we really have.

When you’re overwhelmed, slow down, focus on the here and now. Take a deep breath and move forward one small step.

Assume these are “the good old days,” and this is as good as it’s going to get and appreciate it for all you’ve got.
