The Road Will be Clear When You’re Ready for It

March 11, 2013 by Scott "Q" Marcus Leave a Comment

The road will be clear when you need it to be.

road - career path

As they say, “based on a true story…”

As I am developing the roll-out to the ThisTimeIMeanIt.com “Inner Oval” (it’s like a circle but less perfect), I keep getting overwhelmed with how much I have to do.

  1. Survey to find out what you wanted
  2. Figure out what I could do at an affordable fee
  3. Write copy
  4. Design materials
  5. Promote it
  6. Follow up
  7. Make sure everyone was satisfied
  8. PLUS – keep up the remainder of my projects and responsibilities!

I tell you there, were times I was ready to give up.

Then, I thought, what would I say to people who asked me what they needed to do – and the answer became crystal clear:

Don’t worry about how it will end up. Just focus on putting one step in front of the next. It will eventually get done.

And it did.

And it’s done! (Well, not quite yet, but almost, certainly close enough that I am confident it will be finished this week.)

Move forward – even if you don’t know the path.

It will become evident when it’s time.

Every Monday, a new motivational memo is posted. Subscribers to ThisTimeIMeanIt.com’s coaching service get this – and many more benefits – sent to them directly. If you’d like to know more, follow this link.
