Do something today that your future self will thank you for.
As children, we couldn’t wait for our birthdays. They seemed so far in the future that we thought they’d never get here. Yet they did.
As we get older, birthdays aren’t as exciting anymore as we realize that the future is coming faster and faster. It will be here before we know it. As much as we might like to stop the flow of time, we obviously cannot do so. Therefore, we might as well direct it as well as we can.
Since the future will be here no matter what we do, the only question is “what are you going to do today to make it a better one?”
Take one step in that direction today. Repeat tomorrow.
